GE Fanuc Emerson Series 90-70 Power Supply Module IC697PWR711 120/240 VAC
Description
The IC697PWR711 is a power supply module from the Ge Fanuc 90-30 Series Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) family. This module has a selectable input voltage compatibility such as 120 VAC and 240 VAC, dictated by an external jumper setting. For both the nominal vali input voltages, the applicable voltage range are 90 to132 VAC or 180 to 264 VAC, with frequency of 47 to 63 Hz.
The IC697PWR711 has output voltage supply of +5VDC, 12VDC and -12VDC and logic level sequencing signals towards the backplane. This power supply is mounted on the leftmost location of the 90-30 rack, attached via the 48-pin backplane connector. This power supply is capable of supplying power to a second rack provided that the total load of the additional rack will not exceed the total 100 Watt capacity of the IC697PWR711. Specifically, the 2nd rack must be less than 5.2 amperes. Additionally, powering the 2nd rack requires use of 3-feet connecting cable. The 2nd rack must be within the reach of this cable as it is not designed to operated more than 3 ft.
The has a slide in rack mount construction. The +5VDC delivers maximum output of 18 amperes, +12VDC a maximum output of 2 Amperes and maximum 1 Ampere from the -12VDC output. This power supply has an internal electronic short-circuit and overcurrent protection. For branch circuit fusing, an external switch that is appropriately sized must be installed. This power supply has an ON / OFF switch to put the power supply to active operation.
This module features a slide-in rack construction and 2-rack operation from a single power supply. The GE Fanuc Automation IC697PWR711 power supply module includes electronic short circuit protection and a power factor correction when it is operating with AC voltage. If the GE Fanuc Automation IC697PWR711 power supply module is meant to have continuous operations in environments with high temperatures and low line voltages, its specifications must be derated to guarantee safe operations. Normal operations are only possible with temperatures below 60 degrees Celsius. The GE Fanuc Automation IC697PWR711 power supply module is installed in the left slot of a GE IC697 rack or any VME integrator rack and it is a plug-in module type. This module comes with an input half-cycle peak inrush current of 3 Amps.
