The AO810/AO810V2 Analog Output Module features 8 unipolar analog output channels with comprehensive diagnostic capabilities. The module supervises communication to D/A converters by reading back and verifying serial data, including open-circuit diagnostics during readback operations. Cyclical self-diagnostics monitor process power supply, reporting channel errors when supply voltage to output circuitry is insufficient. Channel diagnostics include fault detection for active channels, reporting errors when output current falls below the set value (when set value exceeds 1 mA).
